Every user on our site shows as online (red dot next to their photo) all of the time as per the attachment.

I don't use the Joomla cache (cleared it anyway). So is that info being stored elsewhere such as in a table?

Thanks. -- Rik
Hello Rik,

The online state of a user is determined by the sessions table in Joomla. If the user is logged in, there will be a record in the sessions table in Joomla.

Hi, Mark:

I truncated (deleted all data) in our jos_sessions table and also cleared my browser cache. However, all the red dots are still active for every single user. I've also tried multiple browsers. If you visit the view all users EasySocial page you can see what I mean.

Thanks. -- Rik

Hey Rik,

That red online status mean those user didn't login from your site, so it always appear red icon status.

You can refer on my attached screenshot below which I tried to login as `arlexwong` user account from Opera browser then I view all user listing page from Chrome browser, it appear my user account green icon status.

Arlex:

OK. I'm red/green colorblind so I can't see the color differences. The dots all look to be the same color to me. FYI, red/green colorblindness affects about 8% of males in the population. Oh, well....

Thanks. -- Rik
