I have tested this locally and also in your site and group admins do have those permissions(http://take.ms/GU4Gm).
Can you check again and see if you are seeing those Create buttons? If not, can you provide us the group admin's user account that is experiencing this issue so we can investigate this? Thanks.

if I go in event section: I have not create event button

2 - For polls : if I try from story board (https://snag.gy/jhXJpL.jpg) : I have that https://snag.gy/EXzacl.jpg and polls are not created
if I go in polls section: I have not create polls button

3- When I'm just a member group, I have in story board: event or polls or video button even if I can't post that ? https://snag.gy/931Vdm.jpg

Hi Virginie,
For issue 1 and 2, we will investigate this.

For issue 3, it seems there are no ACL settings to prevent these elements in the story panel from showing to users. I will post a report to the developers and see what they think about this.
In the meantime, I have posted 3 temporary fix below that will hide events, polls and videos for regular members.
Place them in the following directory:
JoomlaFolder\media\com_easysocial\apps\group\events\events.php
JoomlaFolder\media\com_easysocial\apps\group\polls\polls.php
JoomlaFolder\media\com_easysocial\apps\group\videos\videos.php

How did you upload the files? From the looks of it, the file could most likely been damaged because at line 1, it's just a simple php tag. Is the ftp access ftp.viiva.fr so that I can try to upload it for you?

I have copy the file, because I can't dowload but It was ok for event ans not the others. I come back on old version

For event, I have corrected on line 50, $my by $this->my,
But when I'm owner or admin, I haven't evenement button in story board.

In fact I have override story -> default.php via template, because I want story board only for admin and owner, and not for member.
And It work good.

But I have rewrite event.php with your code and I have lost the old file, could you send me this file, please?

Regular group members would not be able to create events, polls, and videos in the group story panel.

For your earlier issue, I was able to replicate an error when trying to replicate your polls creation issue. I have reported this to our devs so they can look into this.

1- events:
- for owner I have new event button in event page even if my profile type does not allow that (but it's cool for me). Because I can create events in a group when I'm admin or owner. And I can't create personnel event.
- for admin If Events is disable or enable in my profile type, I have not the events button in event group.
- for the both on story I haven't the link "events"

2 - Polls:
- for the both: I haven't polls button on application but I can create one from story board.

Yes owners are able to create new events in the group Events application page. I'm not sure what you meant by 'personnel event'.

The permission to create events from the story panel is determined by the Profile Type. If the Create Event setting is enabled in the profile type, users will be able to see the Event button in story panel.
If you want admins to be able to create events but not normal members, perhaps you can create another profile type for group admins and assign those user to that profile type so they can see the Events button in group story panel.

I'm not sure what you mean by not having polls button on application. Perhaps you can provide us a screenshot for that, other than that, polls should work similarly as events.

I use easysocial just with group and I don't want user personnal publications. So it's not a problem because I hidde somme button from css files and it work good.

Prehaps for group, the possibilty to post events, polls or others applications could be admin in authorization category group and If i'm an owner or an admin I can do that if authorization category group allow me, even if my ACL doesn't allow me in ACL ... I don't know...

1. Owner will always see the event button in group event app page.
If create event profile type is enabled, group admin can only create event in the story form.

2. There is no create polls button in the group polls app page. You can only create polls through the story panel.
You can add your group owners and group admins into another profile type then enable polls there. And for the other profile type for regular members, you can disable polls creation.

The error you reported is unrelated to the ACL. It is actually due to the system unable to detect an editor used to edit the description of group categories. I have fixed this for you so the error should not be there anymore.
