I have already fixed the module from minitek and already sent to Yannis the fixes. I believe they will be releasing an update for it soon and I do apologize for this because it was our fault that we did not thought over this carefully. We learnt our lessons

In EasySocial 1.4 or any future versions we will try our best to make very minimal architectural changes but only if we need to, for instance HTML structure updates, we'll have to update them accordingly. We either innovate or we stay in the pre IE6 era.

However, this is also a chicken and egg situation. While I don't want to affect existing apps / plugins / modules / extensions. We also wouldn't want to build a company that develop "ice age" products. I personally don't think that it is the right way to run any company at all. Innovation is a must and everyone else in the eco-system must learn to innovate too.

For instance, without innovation of the mobile device / web browsing on mobile devices, web designers would still stuck on "table" layouts and most websites would still look horrible.

I could write in many words and sentences I share your point of view but lets keep it simple: I totally agree with you.
I'll just point one example: watch the Microsoft Windows 10 presentation it looks like they copied many things from Apple but there are also a few more things Apple should consider in their next development... and the Hologram thing is just a first step to our our past dreams.

I just wanted to anticipate any possible issue that could arise with the new ES update.
