Hello, im trying to install easysocial but never pass 15%, i tried with launcher, upolading easysocial to FTP and direct install but it never pass the 15%.

Can someone help me, please?

Hi Paul,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have checked your site and it seems like your site is hitting 503 (Service Unavailable). I have google this and 503 Service Unavailable errors are most often caused by your site having met its maximum concurrent connection (simultaneous visitors) limit. You might also experience 503 errors if your hosting account consumes all of its available resources.

Can you consult this 503 issue with your hosting provider and please update us back on this issue once they have replied.

It's fixed, the web is working normal right now. Sorry again. Btw easysocial is working again but the instalation didn't going well. A lot of ppl told me that, now, the webpage is turning crazy because all easysocial stuff is in english and when you are going to look something sometimes the webpage say "The user dont have that application" or something like that.

May I know how can I replicate this issue on your site? Perhaps you can provide us with any screenshot so that we can understand this better. I suspected that your EasySocial might not get installed completely and this maybe the reason why you're hitting this issue.

May I have your permission to reinstall EasySocial on your site? And please backup all your customization on EasySocial because the reinstallation will override the EasySocial files. By the way, it seems like you have already disable our access to your site.

You have all permission to do whatever you need in my webpage. I told you, i trust in stackideas 100%. I will check your permission and i will write again site details but i didnt erased your account.

I see that Yerk logged to comunidadgenesis.es. He is superadmin right now. If you need to close the webpage to reinstall or whatever you need you can do it. I mean, you have full acces and full permissions.

Regarding with your installation issues :

Don't worry, i didnt expect u was working at the weekend. I will try to connect ftp because i dont understand so many problems, really. W8 a moment. I will provide you FTP account in site details.

Hello Paul,

I tried to perform the installation on the site but the server keeps reporting 503 Service Unavailable as you can see here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-15_1528.png . Can you please request your hosting provider to let us know what the exact error message is as there is no way to know why is the server throwing this error.

Thanks for getting back to us,

Can you consult with your Webhosting provider again, is there a way can check on your server is it restricted your server unable to extract the zip file automatically when doing the installation? Because I have noticed every time Easysocial installation make a request to your server, then it return back this respond to us.

Sorry for confusion, what i mean is try consult with your Webhosting provider did they enable zip library php information from your site server?

If yes, is it possible revert back your php current version 5.6 to php version 5.4 and see how it goes?

because it seems like your server respond back to us "Unable to extract .zip file" when doing the installation -> screenshot : http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-15_1528.png

Note : no related your FTP function.

sorry , I copied the whole message of your post and they replied that. Zip library is enable. I will downgrade to php 5.4 but the last easysocial installation was good with 5.6. In fact, all my joomla site was installed with 5.6 in mind.

Should I uninstall easysocial and install again? The last time 1.3.15 works fine for me.

If i unistall, I will lost easysocial sql tables ? If not, and I can uninstall and install again, I will do that.

php 5.4 enabled.

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply and thanks for downgraded your php version to 5.4 for our investigation of this issues,

It seems like that was not a issues for the different php version, you can upgrade back to 5.6version for your php.

Should I uninstall easysocial and install again? The last time 1.3.15 works fine for me.

By right, if the php enable this zip function, the error message shouldn't show {Unable to extract .zip } when doing the installation.

If i was able to install easysocial so I must to think that my host provider it's ok. Or tell me that i must to say or ask to my host provider please.

I'm going to check "Sorry but you can not display..." issue.



The same, I will give you my account credentials in Site details.

I have another issue at the moment, sometimes easysocial dont load spanish translation. That issue is very weird and sometimes the webpage give 404 error.
