Hey Mark!
I just wanted to know something, I don't know if it's just me but for some odd reason your Roadmap keeps showing that 1.1.3 is still upcoming when 1.1.3 is already released? Also, it says that 1.2 would've been out by December and it's the first week of January :P So out of curiosity do you know when we will get to see an awesomely amazing 1.2 release
Hi,

We are slightly behind schedule due to the holidays but we are hoping to make it by mid Jan (finger crossed).

Hi,

I do not have the authority to preview anything but I will pass this message to the higher ups.

I will notify Mark about the issue in our roadmap page.

The roadmap is fixed now, it should display 1.2 instead of 1.1.3 as the current

Group Categories - will there be main Categories, and sub- categories?

Can you give us a bit of insight into Group Categories in 1.2.?

Hi Randall,

We are actually still in progress with this so we wouldn't want to spoil anything for now.

I thought that the one with green upcoming sign is the latest published... Was happy that the 1.2.0 greened on the roadmap, but wondering why when I see my dashboard... New year mop... ahahaha... Happy new year guys...

I'm curious when ES 1.1.4 is coming out? Not a big deal, but a few issues have been resolved internally. Or is the plan to have these fixes all included in ES 1.2?

Regarding the road map, I recommend showing a link to the old road map items that are already complete (perhaps down lower). This way people can easily see what changes have been made from version to version. I know about the change log, but it only shows one version ago and has a lot of the fixes included. Most of us are more curious about the features.

Thanks for the upgrade! Regarding the change log I said "I know about the change log, but it only shows one version ago". So I already know about the changelog. But we can only see one version ago. As a result anyone who was curious enough would pretty much only see the latest fixes with possibly a new feature. Only the really observant folks who been watching it would be able to know the changes.

What I'm proposing is either a way to see the completed road map items of the past (for example ES 1.1) or have the change log show previous versions (perhaps styled like the roadmap with the right side navigation).

Hi,

We are still in progress of fixing the changelog page (as the changelog page is also our in-house-developed extension). We do intend to show changelogs for past version and we will add this in as soon as we can.

Temporarily, what you can do is by going to this link: http://stackideas.com/changelog/easysocial?version=1.0.6

And manually pass in the version at the end.

Hello Humza,

I was updating the languages yesterday, could you try this again? If it fails, can you let me know which language is failing for you?

Hey Mark,
I had to ask if you guys have a EasySocial Menu Bar just like how JomSocial has one. The Reason I'm asking is because I wanted to create one on my nav bar but I can't see any feature for it when I go to create a new menu :/

Hello Humza,

I am sorry but we don't really have that but I don't really see a point of having a "menu bar" when your site already have menu's We have learnt from our mistakes from EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss where menu toolbars are generally duplicates of menu items that is already available on a Joomla site.

LOL Thanks Randall and Mark. :P OK so maybe I did kind of ask a stupid question because...you are right you don't need a navigation menu, and I agree, it's not even needed :DDDDD

Humza, - No question here is a stupid question, so don't feel you asked for something out of line. That's the beauty of Discission forums. To ASK and GET Answers. By working together we can make EasySocial the most awesome social network building solution available.

I suspect around January 24th or the end of the month. I'm pleased to see a few more items complete on the roadmap. But the groups and advance search is not completed which I suspect will take some time to polish it up for production. ES 1.2 is looking quite nice.

Regarding the new theme will be dramatically different from the current one? Will be very minimalistic?

Hello Brandon,

EasySocial is already responsive. Not sure what you meant by "responsive support" here.
