Hello,
When I click on the social share link in one om the post on my timeline the social share popup appears, which is just fine.
The popup provides me the various social I have enabled, but when I click on (for example) the facebook then a second popup appears to fill in the details for the post to share.
After completing the share on the second popup the post is shared on facebook (thus far all perfect) except the first popup is still visible and it cannot be closed.

Is this a bug or did I do something wrong?

Kind regards,
Armando
I checked this and I think this popup stays Open so the user can share to other networks, such as Twitter, Google Plus etc. after you Share to the first network. That way you don't have to click Social Share again and again for each network.

You must have only Facebook enabled in your Dashboard Sharing settings, so only one network to share to, then the Popup staying open after Sharing to Facebook doesn't make sense. Maybe it should close. But since most networks or communities allow more than one Social Sharing option, it is in this default state, and must be closed.

If your first popup contains all the networks and then the facebook setting stays open, there must be a bug in your settings or something. I tried it a number of different ways and can't make it repeat the issue you are experiencing.

Perhaps there should be a check or flag that says IF SOCIAL SHARE ONLY HAS ONE NETWORK ENABLED, THEN CLOSE AFTER SHARING.

Hi,

As Randall said, the sharing box actually contains other sharing means. We will see how to improve this in the future.
