Hello Support

I am really excited to finally get my hands on Easy Social. I am trying to install the EasySocial 1.2.0 RC1 version as instructed here: http://stackideas.com/issues/1755
The download that I am using is here:http://stackideas.com/issues/stats i.e. com_easysocial_1.2.0_full_pro.zip

I´ve tried installing 3 times using the Extensions manager but nothing much happens. I get my sending request to mywebsite message and a connecting message and a little spinning circle. At some point however this seems to time out. I am probably making an embarrassingly stupid mistake. As far as I can tell my system is configured to handle this. System Information looks good to me.

Please advise

thanks

Paul
Hello Paul,

It's most likely that the php upload_max_filesize has been reached. You will need to actually ensure that the value for upload_max_filesize is set to 10mb or greater. The reason is because in beta / RC packages, it uses the full installation package which is about 10.8mb I believe.

Hi Marc

Thanks. I had it set to 10MB. My mistake. This link here helped me figure out how to check this.

I believe that I have this set correctly. Please see the screen shot.
It still seems to be timing out.

I am investigating if there is something in Plesk Parallels that I need to change. If you have any ideas please let me know.

thanks

Paul

Hello Paul,

The FTP access that you had provided is incorrect, please advice?
I tried uploading the file using an extension from the backend but it was uploading too slow and failed.

Thanks:)

Hi Khairul

I have copied and pasted the FTP login stuff below in the Optional Information section. I just tested and it works for me. Please try again.

thanks
