Hi,

I have a question about cronjob ans send mail notifications.

My host (nuxit) says :
for php mail() function :
size max authorized for an email = 10 Mo
E-mail nomber send/day : 1 000
E-mail nomber send/hour: 100
Limite of number receiper/mail = 5

bulk-sending or newsletter are forbidden.

So if I take this one, Can I use cronjob email for easysocial ?

Thank's
EasySocial does not perform bulk sending. It only performs transactional e-mails. For instance, when a user joins a group, requests a friend request etc.

It always send out to a single recipient so it is fine with that limit. However if your site is very active, 100 e-mails an hour and 1000 e-mails a day could be problematic unless you turn off some of the common notifications like following, friend requests etc. These can be turned off under the "Alerts" section at the back end of EasySocial.

By the way, if your hosting provider doesn't allow that, you could setup Joomla to link with a variety of transactional e-mail providers at a very cheap cost.

Some reputable transactional e-mail providers:
