A new discussion is posted on the site, *{title}* at {permalink}

We get a wrong "permalink" when using a bot. Show page not found error.

What other syntax exists? Which {} commands can we try?
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

This is the only command available in Easydiscuss.

Perhaps you can try change this SEO routing behaviour and see how it goes.

Backend > easydiscuss > setting > SEO > routing behaviour - Use Menu ItemId Determined By EasyDiscuss , then try submit a new discussion post again.

If the issue still persists, can you update your following access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

- Joomla backend access
- FTP access
- Slack account access

Will changing settings in SEO change all permalinks on the site as well? Meaning Google will have to reindex whole forum?

Yes, it might affected, but currently I am not really sure what is the incorrect URL you getting now.

You can temporary switch this setting as what i suggested in earlier, then try submit a new post and see whether this post permalink did generate the correct link from Slack bot?

If no, it might be not related with this issue.

By the way, I definitely do not know where went wrong without checking on your site.
