Easydiscuss Smart Search plugin still doesn't work

Hello,
I posted back in April about this issue and it still hasn't been addressed as far as I am aware. I believe I have the latest version of ED and it's search plugin installed. The post is locked now so I need to create this new post.

The issue is with the ED Smart Search plugin. If you delete an ED post it should get removed from the smart search index, but it does not, resulting in 404 errors when selecting these "dead" search results.

To recreate, simply create an ED post and you will find it added to the smart search index as expected. Then, delete the ED post and search for it again and you will find it is still indexed and clicking the link will result in a 404 because it no longer exists.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Can you download the attached file and upload it into /plugins/finder/easydiscuss/ and see if this works for you?

Thanks for this. I just tried it and it now removes the main post from the search index but not the replies - they are still indexed.

Hello Gavin,

Ah, okay found the problem! It looks like the smart search cannot remove items with anchor links for replies. I have applied some fixes locally and this will be fixed in the next release
