It was working just now, please make sure your Re-Captcha is switch on in EasyDiscuss in Joomla Backend > EasyDiscuss > General > Anti Spam

Can you check with your Webhosting provider and see is it got enable GD library in your site PHP system?
Because that was related many possibility factor to made this captcha image broken.

After looking through the issue i had found out that your magic_quote_gcp is on, please switch this off for Joomla to work properly.

Please create a .htaccess file that points to your php.ini file to override magic_quote_gcp ot switch off but some host disallow this so please contact your web-hosting to switch it off for you.
