Hi here,

I am implementing EasyDiscuss on my soon to launch site. I am very happy with what it can do but just have one small concern. It is not very mobile friendly. When I test it on my iPhone, it just looks bad! I did allow it to be responsive, and it is but it is obviously not done right. I think Stackideas are great but for some reason the responsiveness part is not the best (even Stackideas own website is not working like you would imagine on iPads and iPhones. I am saying this as a constructive suggestion. I do not mean to attack Stackidaes as I am goining to renew my membership for years to come it is just that I am paying a designer to try and fix the problems that I did not expect when purchasing EasyDiscuss. I must say that I am funding similar problems with EasyBlog but EasySocial for some reason is much better.

Thank you for all your hard work. Without it, I don't know how could I have started my new venture
Hello David,

Thanks for the heads up on this. With EasySocial we have actually taken a different approach because initially the "layout" was already catered for responsive sites. EasyDiscuss on the other hand, wasn't initially catered for responsive layouts and we're like forcing our way through by applying some css hacks (We'll definitely be improving on them as time comes). Anyway, can I know what issues are you having currently?

Hello David,

Thanks for your feedback here. We do appreciate your concerns. We will do our best to correct this but we are actually having some problems hiring enough good designers here. We will try to correct this the best we can though

Thanks!

Thanks Adelene and Mark,

I am having so many problems. It is costing me way more than the cost of EasyDiscuss to even begin to fix the problems. Search bar, ask a question bar, comment bar. So many things. It is a great component but I do think that responsiveness is basic now days.

I am just worried of the cost I am having to spend just to fix it.

Hello David,

Hm, perhaps before paying someone to fix it, get us to fix it? List down the problems that you are facing with EasyDiscuss and we'll get our designers to help you look into each of the issues (At times, these issues are unrelated to EasyDiscuss because of the template but again, and as always, we try our best to get everything fixed).

The issues are also happening on EasySocial. There are others but I think these ones are the most prominent ones. I would like to make it clear that I have spent over 150 euros with a designer already trying to fix the problems. I am not complaining or anything, I just want you to know that i am grateful for you fixing those issues.

Here are the following problems on EasySocial:

-webkit-box-sizing: content-box !important;
box-sizing: content-box !important;
}

change to

Hi Chang,

The first image you shared is when an email message comes from EasyBlog to let me know that a new comment was posted on my blog. The second one I am not sure where it was from to be honest...

Also, now when I go to my 'Blogs' frontage, I cannot view the featured blogs on mobile (I can on tablet and desktop) and the users profile avatars on Unity and the albums are still not centred.

I appreciated you doing this by the way

Do you have the URL for this, I can't reproduce this issue with the access you provided.

Also, now when I go to my 'Blogs' frontage, I cannot view the featured blogs on mobile (I can on tablet and desktop)

There have some issue on the featured blogs slider, by right it should't appear in mobile view.

the users profile avatars on Unity and the albums are still not centred.

I can't reproduce it, can you provide the URL for those issues. Thanks.

Dear Chang,

1) I can't provide with a URL as it is an email notification. I guess, as an administrator, you could start a blog post and create another user so they could comment on that post. Then you will get an email from EasyBlog.

2) why would I not be able to view featured posts on mobile? I think that is essential. Is there nothing to fix that?

3) in order to access unity, simply login, hover over 'Community' on the top tool bar, when the menu expands, press on 'Stream' which will bring you to 'Unity'

Dear Chang,

Today, just after you made all the great changes, my site got overwhelmed with heavy load. It appeared as if each page was about 30mb heavy, which later led to it crashing.

Did you notice anything unusual? I am not blaming or anything, but do you think you might have done something? I would like to make it clear that I very much appreciate your help, it just doesn't make any sense!!

This is our bug I will log in to our issues tracker.

I am so sorry but unfortunately the slider not support in mobile view yet. I will suggest it to our programmer.

I'm on Unity but unable reproduce your issues. http://screencast.com/t/Qokq5FwJW2Jj

I just updated 2 files only which is
http://www.twigit.org/templates/yoo_nano3/styles/default/css/bootstrap.css and
http://www.twigit.org/templates/yoo_nano3/css/custom.css.
I have no idea what causing the server crashing, maybe you can provide us the server's log files so that we can check for you.

Hi Chang,

Can you have a look at the back end for me to see if you can see anything that might be causing the issue?

Hello David,

Sorry for the late reply. I just checked out your site and there seems to be no issue with any pages. Did I miss something here? Was there any particular URL affected? I browsed around for a while and things are looking fine. Please advice.

Thanks!
