I am using EasyDiscuss to post via email to the forum. The posts are parsed and created correctly when the titles are in English. However, when there are no English characters, the posts are created but without the post alias. So a user can see the post, but the link points to the same page, without the additional path in the URL, so the post is not viewable.

The problem is fixed when an admin user edits the post and saves it, a post alias is automatically created.

The problem doesn't occur if one precedes the Chinese characters with some English characters.
Hello,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Can you try downloading the attached file and upload it into /components/com_easydiscuss/classes/mailqueue.php and see if you are still hitting the same issue?

Hi, Mark,

Adding that one line did not seem to make a difference. The post alias is still not set, if the subject is solely in Chinese (zh-tw), but if it begins with Fwd: <chinese>, then the URL will be set as .../Fwd, without the <chinese>, so it seems to be a language related issue.
