Actually, it is the correct behavior in EasyDiscuss 5, when you edit the post from the backend, it will always redirect to the frontend edit post page.

And yes, it seems like related to Sh404sef the way we modified that core file, last time we did not handle the URL if click from the backend so unable to view the edit post page on frontend because the URL contain the /forum.

For now, you can try access this edit post URL without 'forum' alias first.

e.g. https://kissielts.com/forum/ask?id=780 change to https://kissielts.com/ask?id=780

I will help you check this tomorrow.

By the way, regarding with your initial issue, do you mean that the meta description showing wrong in Google?

Glad. you remember we did adjustments to this site because I would have been lost.
Especially since our site individual forum pages are set up using the "/forum/post-title" format.
