For the first few times, we have simply deleted the post that was periodically popping up under "moderation".. However, I have thought it be good to bring it up to your attention.

For some reason, every few weeks or longer, we will get a bunch of the same post to continue to pop up under moderation. Personally, I have rejected and even deleted them, but the same ones continue to pop back up.

So there you go, not sure what can be done, but I will leave them in moderation in case you like to take a dive at it...

Possible bug or not playing well with a certain plugin/component, not quite certain.

Let me know if I can give any further information..
Many thanks
Hey Ulysses,
So then brings forth another issue, which is I guess the "Content - EasyDiscuss" will continue to bring any articles over no matter how long they have been sitting in articles and will continue to do so, even after we remove these from moderation, huh?
That is correct. The plugin will automatically create discussions in EasyDiscuss.
Just thought it was a glitch or buggy thing, but I guess this is normal, huh?
This is normal since that is what the plugin is supposed to do. If you want to prevent the plugin from creating any discussion posts, you can do any of the following.
- disable the plugin
- remove com_content from the setting(attached)
Sadly, though some do get past the moderation and go straight to published
If a site admin saves the article, it will go past moderation since site admin are not subjected to the moderation process.

Hi Ulysses,

May I know whether you recently updated those same articles in Joomla? A possibility those are generated in EasyDiscuss is due to the Content - EasyDiscuss plugin, although I'm not really sure why they are in pending state.

One thing you can try is disable the Content - EasyDiscuss for now, then continue monitoring the issue? If the issue occurs again, at least we can rule out that plugin.

I managed to reproduce the discussions that are created in pending state.

1. normal user edit joomla article and save.
2. pending discussion generated in EasyDiscuss.

The reason the discussion is created is due to the Content - EasyDiscuss plugin. The reason it goes to pending state is because moderation is enabled in EasyDiscuss.

Yes, which is great that it does go to pending moderation state first. However, we are not creating content in joomla articles.. When we begin to create articles, they will be created in EasyBlog... So then brings forth another issue, which is I guess the "Content - EasyDiscuss" will continue to bring any articles over no matter how long they have been sitting in articles and will continue to do so, even after we remove these from moderation, huh?

As I have deleted these before in moderation and then several weeks later they are back.. Guess, the best thing to do is to disable "Content - EasyDiscuss" at least until I remove the articles that are sitting there for demo purposes and add them to EasyBlog..

Just thought it was a glitch or buggy thing, but I guess this is normal, huh?

Sadly, though some do get past the moderation and go straight to published... I guess I will just have to make all the articles in joomla articles disabled and hope they don't go over to being published for others to see

All of that makes TOTAL sense..

So in other words, as long as there are articles and it is enabled to see them it will continue to attempt to add them in unless I either exclude or disable.. Got it.. -Thanks for the great explanation.

I just wanted to ensure there wasn't an error, as it kept on coming back up, even after removing.
