I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

Something is really strange with your site as there are something that heavily cache the javascript files on your site and no matter what change that I made over the file /media/com_easydiscuss/scripts/toolbar.js, it will always load the original scripts rather than the change that I've made.

I even try to renaming toolbar.js to toolbar.js_bak and the file toolbar.js is still loaded on your frontend. Refer my screenshot here for a better view, http://screencast.com/t/o7vq1ptv . I highly suspect that your server (not site) has some cache mechanism that preventing the javascript file from being loaded correctly thus causing the fix to not working on your frontend.

I hope this is clear enough for you and I suggest you to consult with your webhosting service provider regarding on this issue.

Yes I do have the cache enabled on the hosting. I will disable this so that you can supply the fix, because the notifications link doesnt work for me all the time.

Thank you. Finally the change is appearing on your frontend . However after some time seems like the cache is taking it effect again thus preventing me from making additional change on the site .

Nevertheless I am able to apply the fix for the notification dropdown but it seems like the dropdown will only work if I change your site template to another template such as wanderers and protostar. Refer my video link here, http://screencast.com/t/xYDykB36FP .

Can you consult with your template provider instead and ask whether they have made some override with the dropdown class that preventing easydiscuss toolbar dropdown from working correctly?
