Couldn't find much on this one; so i thought I throw it out there.....

For privacy and to ensure, many of our EasyDiscuss notifications don't continue to end up in Spam.
We are wishing to have all EasyDiscuss notifications sent only from one email; instead of it appearing as an email from the student.

For instance, all from me as the webmaster rather than everyone.
As we noticed a tremendous amount of emails going into spam because of new and unrecognizable emails.
Also, a few members have already raised their voices about their information being sent to other subscribers when posting.

Is there a setting option that makes this possible?

Also, is there a setting for EasySocail or are they working in unison..
Actually, not sure if EasySocial does the same, but thought to ask as well.
I see, I've helped you disabled this setting Modify Sender Details to User Details so the system will not modify the sender email address now.

Also, we can't control why some of the email notifications will go to the junk mailbox, since you have using SMTP mailer, perhaps you can consult with your mailer administrator and see if possible to investigate this?

in a nutshell, we just want one email going out for all notifications.

The user needs to set their subscription interval to daily or weekly so the system will not keep sending a new reply/question instantly.

If the user set their subscription interval to instant, mean they want to get the email notification instantly when the discussion post has a new reply or question.

I am not quite sure if I understand you here, perhaps you can provide us one of the simple scenarios so that I can easy to replicate this on your site?

Also, a few members have already raised their voices about their information being sent to other subscribers when posting.

Is there a setting option that makes this possible?

May I know what kind of their information being sent to another subscriber?
Perhaps you can update which discussion post your student published and which kind of subscriber the system should send to?

Also, do you mean those new discussion email notifications fall into their mailbox spam folder?

I understand, for me, it was difficult to explain without showing.
So here you go a quick video explanation.

In a nutshell, we just want one email going out for all notifications.
You should get an idea, I hope from the video.
thanks

That's exactly what I was looking for.. And solved this ticket - thanks so much

Yes, I understand, it was simply because so many emails from all these users and some were just not recognizable, such as from qq.com, etc.. But again this ticket was solved as soon as you disabled the above - thanks again.

Yes, thanks I think I confused even myself, as I just placed it as instant to test and ensure that everyone had been receiving emails from users from the site and not just the admin.. But again, the disabling did exactly what I tried so hard to explain, but failed...

Thanks for decoding this support ticket
