It seems work fine when i trying to search something from backend, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Perhaps you can share with us the exactly step to reproduce this issue?

Those tabs will always appear if you logged in as Superadmin, if you already disabled those tab from backend setting, these tabs will not appear for registered user.

And I already disabled that location section from backend, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

it seems like one of the 3rd party thing make it as ajax call instead of refresh the page when i click second page or filtering, you can check my video here : http://take.ms/YdJew , by right, it shouldn't show that loading blue bar when you click anything.

Do you know where generate this blue loading bar on the page?

Where does i decide where these posts are placed within joomla?
In articles we produce news - they seem to enter the discuss - international boxing? is that right?
We like to seperate news from forum if they are mingled / or at least know where we set it up in backend.

The blue loading bar is generated by your system plugin "System - Ajax Toggler" and this plugin is messing up with the requests. As soon as I disable them, it works fine now.

This plugin is problematic because it also causes issue everywhere else. Take a look at my screen shot of your Joomla plugin manager which is also caused by the system plugin, http://take.ms/KOWWy

As for the reason articles are being created in EasyDiscuss, it is because the "Content - EasyDiscuss" plugin is enabled. I have disabled this plugin and it will no longer created discussions when you create a news item. If you want to enable this plugin, you could and you could configure the plugin to only generate discussions from specific categories by editing the plugin's configuration.
