Easydiscuss logo and name appears on every email which is sent to the users. Ideally ED should show the logo of my website (from my template logo position), or it should give me an option. But it is embarrassing if my website is ending emails with ED logo.

The only way to change it is to edit the template of email, which is an extra work for a paid extension. Other customization is understandable, but not the logo of website and name. Moreover the customized email template is stored in one of the folder down there in website template folder, and not in ED folder itself. So if I update the template, I need to customise the email template again.

Please tell me some easy solution so that I don't have to do this basic change again. I never needed to do it before ED-4.
If you would have searched the documentation, you have already found an answer without waiting for a reply. Please take a look at the documentation here, http://stackideas.com/docs/easydiscuss/administrators/templating/overrides-email-logo

Anyway, there is no way for us to know which template that you use and there is no way for the scripts to be intelligent enough to know which image file is your logo.

Thanks Mark for responding on a weekend.

I have read that documentation. My post just repeats the same documentation in simple words. I have already done that once. But when I updated the template, I needed to do that again. And sometimes we may forget to do that. Anyway, I believe you must have found it more appropriate to do it this way.
