EasyDiscuss has stopped doing status updates of replies on Jomsocial

Since upgrading my site to Joomla 3.3, EasyDiscuss has stopped doing status updates of replies on Jomsocial. The initial new question triggers a status update, but no longer the replies. Why is that?
