Hm, this is odd as it looks like it is still using one of the older html structure. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access so that we can have a look at this issue?

Aside from the clunky layout, ideally this page would just inherit the header from the group page - you can see I have a template override on that removes the sidebar, and have made a new links section at the top, under the site name. I'd like to keep them as is really and not have this faff with the header disappearing and changing depending on app selected

I have modified 2 files . The first one is in /administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/includes/easysocial/easysocial.php

The second file is in /components/com_easydiscuss/themes/wireframe/groups/header.easysocial.php

Once you copy both these files over, it should work fine
