We haven't had any plan to integrate Group with Easydiscuss. However, In Easysocial Group, you can see there is already discussion feature.

yes easysocial groups had already discussions but there is no connexion with easydiscuss,
many of our members tell me where we should post discussions ? if they post in groups the other members wich are not part of those groups will not see that, they must post them again on easydiscuss !

i "think" and "suggest" an app or option in easysocial groups where we can choose to send new discussions to easydiscuss or not,
just like the easyblog app

or, create a module where we can list groups discussions (with filters) !
