Hi all,

Recently upgraded to joomla 3.5 and can't save any changes to easydiscuss in the admin area, all I get is a blank white page..

Any suggestions appreciated.
Hey there,

We have actually identified this as a known issue for EasyDiscuss 3.x and the patch files can be downloaded from http://stackideas.com/forums/easydiscuss-3-2-9744-joomla-3-5-quick-fix

This is actually a known issue and will be fixed in 4.x. As EasyDiscuss 4 is now in RC, we're expecting a stable release pretty soon

Thanks but this is not working for me. When would you estimate the next release to occur?

Sure Mark, is there a way to private message you with the login details?

By the way, in the future you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies These section only available for our moderators, your site details will not appear on public area.

Looking forward of your response.

Seems like you are hitting this error when try to save setting on the back end:
Catchable fatal error: Argument 2 passed to Joomla\Registry\AbstractRegistryFormat::getInstance() must be of the type array, string given, called in xx/libraries/vendor/joomla/registry/src/Registry.php on line 649 and defined in xx/libraries/vendor/joomla/registry/src/AbstractRegistryFormat.php on line 39

You have to download my attached fix file and replace into your file -DIR:..JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easydiscuss\models\settings.php
