The wireframe toolbar is the new "default" theme in EasyDiscuss. We have also simplified the toolbar by removing the use of icons as icons are pretty confusing.

For instance in Old Discuss the links or some text highlighted in were done using above tags of color - but in new version - its showing as text ... without changing color

We will consider adding the simplistic theme back but I would honestly suggest that you give the wireframe theme a try first

This is something which I have noticed, even with other software as well. When there is a new design, most would feel uneasy because they are not used to it. Once they get the hang of it, they feel it's much more usable Look at Facebook and Twitter for instance. Look at the progress since their first version. My advise, embrace change, life is too short to stick to the same design

As for the links, I don't really understand you here. Can you please elaborate more on this please?

Thanks for getting back to us your issue resolved.

By the way, the reason why it working before is because the bbcode function will processing the [color] tag, but this [color] tag actually not exist from the bbcode editor.

In Easydiscuss 4 we already remove this [color] tag. It would be best if you can backup this file for future update.
