We have a small issue with the EasyDiscuss Notification plugin. Its missing the German translations when there are no notifications for the user...

can that be fixed please?

P.S.
Maybe similar as this one here.
Hi there,

I've tried to replicate this locally, it seems the language translation as you attached image above was translated correctly: http://take.ms/tQz5D
It is possible you to re-install the german language? If you've make some changes in the existing language file I'm suggest you to backup it first

Hi there,

Do you remember that you've make any changes in the core language file? If dont, you are able to update the language straight away by clicking the http://take.ms/IX8fg

If you've make any changes previously in the file (just in case you have make changes)
language/de-DE/de-DE.com_easydiscuss.ini and in the module language file as shown here: http://take.ms/X3ez9
you can copy it out somewhere or just rename and then update the german language same as step I've give here in the screenshot

no, i normally do not like such changes as those tend to cause more issues. I prefer a update from your side in order to get that issue solved/fixed. But yes I can trigger the "install / update" button. However on my system the Last Updated time value still will show "2016-07-19 16:52:33" while the last change date on the FTP server shows a "28.04.2017 15:31:36" stamp.

I will try to rename it and re-run the installation as mentioned by you.

Update:
the installer re-created a new language file. I can see that the KB side is now 227.339 instead 116.769, however the Last Updated time value still shows "2016-07-19 16:52:33" while the last change date on the FTP server shows a "28.04.2017 15:31:36" stamp.

I see, firstly my I know do the translation was already correctly as you update to the latest language file just now? so we can sort out the current issue.
so now the timestamp was show incorrectly after you update the latest language file?
Perhaps, can you provide us with your site access and FTP access so we can troubleshoot the issue?

You can add the information needed by edit your first post in the Details section or you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

no, the language is still English. I also tried that with a brand new different user and a fresh installed Windows PC (to avoid any kind of cache, proxy, whatever issues).

And you already have admin access. However FTP access will not work as the firewall will block your IP, the only way to perform something via FTP would need to involve me directly.

I can see the issue still persist in your site

This issue seems to be interrelated each other in your other ticket, I will do the follow up in this ticket : https://stackideas.com/forums/easysocial-notification-plugin-is-missing-german-translations instead.
