I'm getting this error after installing 'com_easydiscuss_pro_3.2.9422':

PHP Warning: include(/var/www/html/components/com_easydiscuss/themes/simplistic/field.form.attachments.fileinput.ejs): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/foundry.php on line 132
[Wed May 21 05:45:23.558773 2014] [:error] [pid 10094] [client 173.228.54.197:33547] PHP Warning: include(): Failed opening '/var/www/html/components/com_easydiscuss/themes/simplistic/field.form.attachments.fileinput.ejs' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/html/administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/foundry.php on line 132

Additionally when I try to add a new menu item linking to the Frontpage item, clicking 'Save' does nothing and I am unable to add the new item to the menu.
Hello Robert,

I am sorry for the late reply.
If you're using Joomla 3.3, Joomla has change the settings abit. It is a known issue for Joomla 3.3. Please try put these attached files in your site.
1. \administrator\components\com_easydiscuss\elements\fields\modal\categories.php
2. \components\com_easydiscuss\views\index\tmpl\default.xml

Please put these files and see how it goes.
Please be advise.
Thanks.

Hello Robert,

There are times where your hosting provider doesn't allow uploading of "unknown" extensions. Probably due to security reasons. We can manually upload them for you. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

I'm not using a hosting provider, and sorry, but no, there is no public access available to the site. EasyDiscuss did install properly, it's just the two things I mentioned that are problematic. I found the source for field.form.attachments.fileinput.ejs on github and added to my site, the warning is now gone, but it would be best if you could add it back in to your next release.

So the main issue right now is that I can't save the EasyDiscuss Frontpage Item as a menu link. I click save but nothing happens and it doesn't get saved, so I'm a bit stuck here. Thanks.

Hello Robbert,

Is there any error in the browser's console? Can you try to save the menu item with other Easydiscuss layout (example: Categories layout) ? We need this information to check the cause of this issue. Please advise.

Thank you, that was exactly the problem. I added the two files to my Joomla 3.3 site and now everything is working properly again. Great support!
