My site is http://www.bvint.com
As you can see, I have EasyBlogRandomPost installed on the left hand side.
When I click on an article, it appears below the existing content on the home page.
What I want is for it to open the Blog page and display the article there.
Can this be done?

PS: This forum is brilliant. I've found answers and easy to understand directions on how to modify bits and pieces that I needed - hopefully you can help me out with this one as well :-)

Cheers

Bree
Hello Bree,

It seems like there is an issue with your menu item. Can you provide us your backend and FTP (just in case) to check this issue? Please advise.

Hello Bree,

I've fixed it for you. I've change this option: http://screencast.com/t/v57MQrf0sx to use Easyblog menu item. Hope this helps.

Hi Nick.
While that technically has solved the problem, it still doesn't direct to the Blog page before opening the article, which then offers no inducement for the reader to continue to poke around the site.
Is there a way to direct to the Blog page first, then open the article there?

Hello Bree,

I am sorry for the late reply.
If I understand you correctly, you want to redirect Easyblog module at your frontpage to the blog listing, and then find the article there. If yes, I believe this cannot be done because the function of this module is to directly open the blog without needing to view the blog listing. But you can still tweak the code if you insisted to achieved this.

If no, can you explain it more so that we are able to assist you on this issue.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hi Mohd
Yes, that is what I was hoping to do.
I figured it could be done through a bit of poking around in the code, but if it's not going to be a quick/easy option, I can live without it.
Many thanks for your help.

Hello Bree,

Here I attached a file, you can download and replace this file in your server. Please backup first before override the file so that it is easier for you to revert back to the previous settings. Please upload here: modules\mod_easyblograndompost\tmpl\default.php .

If you have anymore question, please don't hesitate to ask us.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.
