In #107072 Adelene shared... “So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have tested this and it is working fine with the iframe i used. May i have the iframe you are trying to insert? Also please note that EasyBlog has a built in filter for all user groups. If you are trying this using a user in the Registered group you will not be able to insert iframe. Please go to backend -> EasyBlog -> ACL -> Registered and set the disallow html codes to not have iframe in it

Hope this helps.

I am left to wonder why this feature is part of EasyBlog, by default. I wasted 78 minutes this morning trying to figure out why iframes were being stripped from the front end of EasyBlog and not from the Admin panel in the back-end. Knowing that I use JCE I spent all of my time concentrating on the settings there and NOT in EasyBlog. Let’s face it, without searching your Forum, I never would have thought to look for the iframe prohibition in the EasyBlog-ACL-Registered User section. What is your logic? It is hard enough to get iframes configured with Global Configurations and editor settings. Why would Stack Ideas want to create one more hurdle for iframes?
My second thought is that this relatively unknown and hidden setting makes me wonder what else my registered users are not able to do when they use the site. When I log on I am a Super User and never spend much time on any of my sites as a Registered user. Are there any other items that I need to consider for my registered users?
Thanks again for considering my thoughts.
