I searched the forum here, but did not find the most current recommended method to archive articles. Some help on this please? Thank you.
Hello John,

Our Archive module works is like this, it will get the total published post from the database table, and display those total based on month. You don't have to push the content over to the archive. There is no additional setting for this module other than provided in ModuleManager>EasyBlog Archive. As long as your post is published, it will appear in the archive page. Hope this helps.

Hello John,

You don't really need to "archive" blog posts in EasyBlog because you could actually just load up the archive module and EasyBlog would then be able to filter blog posts by specific months / years.

Thanks for that input Mark.

OK, but I'm trying to set up the archive so that:

1) The blogposts are stale content (they're about events that have already happened), so I don't want them to be visible in the normal "Events" category on our site.
2) The user can, if he/she wishes, check out the article in the "Archives" area. So, it's not unpublished, but we have moved it over, without changing the URL, into a stale content bin (aka "archive")

So followup Question One: Is this how your archive module works?

I set up the module, and am testing it out now.

Followup Question Two: Are there any settings within EasyBlog component that need changing, to push content over to the Archive?
I can't find any on either the component, OR the module.
