I installed v5 today as it is "stable". It is on a fresh install of Joomla 3.4.1 and was working perfectly with EasyBlog v3.9.X.

During the upgrade I used the full package and installed the component from the default packages directory within the site as it specified. All went without a hitch on the install. I also installed ALL the modules and plugins as they are selected by default upon install. I have no idea what most of them do, but "install" was the default setting so I left it that way.

However, now that it's installed I can't access any blog posts from the front end. I can get to the EasyBlog home page, but if I click on any blog entry I get the following error and nothing but that error on the page:

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/karaoked/public_html/kaa/kaa3/components/com_easyblog/helpers/helper.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php55/pear') in /home/karaoked/public_html/kaa/kaa3/plugins/opengraph/easyblog/easyblog.php on line 41

I made a backup of the site before I installed this, but I really don't want to have to revert back at this point. You can see the Easyblog front page here:

http://www.karaokeacrossamerica.com/kaa-blog

But if you click on any of them (title or "read more" link) you will get that error.

Please advise.
Hi Steve ,

Sorry for late reply to this,

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/karaoked/public_html/kaa/kaa3/components/com_easyblog/helpers/helper.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php55/pear') in /home/karaoked/public_html/kaa/kaa3/plugins/opengraph/easyblog/easyblog.php on line 41

I look at the error message you provided, it seems like this plugin "opengraph - easyblog" is no longer compatible with Easyblog 5, can you temporary disable this plugin from your backend plugin manager and see how it goes?

If the issues still persists can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

I'm not exactly sure what that means, but I did run "fix permissions" in Akeeba Admin tools and it still does the same thing.

Is that what you meant? If not, what would I need to do to check that?

Thanks!

Yes, I disabled this plugin and so far it is working. I haven't had time to fully try all features, but I'll respond back if I find any other issues.

Thank you!
