EasyBlog v5.0.44 - Disable AddThis widget on parent didn´t disabled that in the child?

I have the following issue:

- I have a category news
- I have a subcategory events

When I disable the AddThis bookmarking option in the news category i expected that this is also disabled in the events sub category as the option in the events category is on "inherit". However that isn´t the case. When I disable the option directly in the events category its working.

Is that working as designed? If yes what is the inherit feature, means where did it inherit the settings?
Hi Tela,
The bookmark 'inherit' setting in categories posts actually inherits from the layout settings page: Settings>Layout>Post Options(http://take.ms/qkcOB).
If you want this to be disabled in all posts, you can just disable it in the layout setting area.
