Hello,

I have easy blog installed on a server with multiple domains.
How can I have the easy blog to use the correct url domain when auto posting? For example if you post manually it uses the correct domain which is wairnetworks.com:

However when it autopost it uses eyemuzic.com as the domain:

How can this be corrected?
Hi Lawrence,

That is strange as I have not encounter this issue before.

Can you include your backend and ftp access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so I can test and investigate this?

Hey Lawrence,

Can you provide me super user access to the site? as I may need full access to troubleshoot the issue.

Thanks Lawrence.

I have checked your configuration and nothing seems out of the ordinary.

Can you provide me the exact steps to reproduce the issue? Are you using Twitter autoposting? because I noticed that it is currently disabled for a number of categories.

Did you manually autopost(https://take.ms/jWpHj) from the backend post listing?

May I have permission to test your autopost? Because I won't be able to delete the test post on your social media until you do.

yes I am using the autoposting on Twitter that this is when I get the incorrect domain. when I manually post from the front end I get the proper domain. There are some categories I do not auto post and some I do for instance under facts I auto post the following categories: Music, Entertainment, and Gossip as these are mainly from RSS feeds which is where I experienced the issue. You have my permission for test posting.

Hey Lawrence,

Thanks for the info.

I just tested manual autoposting for 2 of your existing posts(one Music, one Entertainment) from the backend and it looks like the domain is correct on your Twitter: https://take.ms/c6BNs

Am I missing something here to reproduce the issue?

Let's verify once the cron runs on the RSS feed to pull a new update this is when this issue occurred. that would be the only difference but if that runs and works we should be fine to close it.

Hey Lawrence,

I am now seeing the other domain as you reported(https://take.ms/EsfhL). Is this autoposted from the cron? or manual?

I tried to access the link and it is a valid link(https://take.ms/87ZWd), but it is actually using the same site files as your wairnetworks domain, meaning both domains share the same site directory.

If the issue comes from the cronjob, can you show me your cron setup or provide me access? Perhaps the cronjob is using the url of the other domain.

Hey Lawrence,

As mentioned in my previous reply, may I have your cronjob configuration access as I'm curious why the cronjob produces this domain.

You may add the information in the 'optional information' section of your site details.

Sorry I just saw your previous update. I believe it to be the CRON, the CRONJOB is only there to pull the RSS Feeds. But let me try something and I will revert. I think I may know the issue I just want to verify.

Still trying to verify but it looks as if the autopost to twitter only worked once when the RSS feed is refreshed by the cron job. I have a different ticket open for this but as soon as I can verify I will let you know.

Alright Lawrence. From what I see, there are 2 autopost instances in your autoposting logs. Perhaps one is from the system, and the other is from the blogger's account(https://take.ms/fyqhw).

But, from what I inspected in your database, the autopost with the other domain name is actually from the system's autopost.

As such, I would like to have a look at your cron configuration and server access logs. It would help our investigation and eliminate probable causes if we can have a look at these items.

Hi Raymond,

There are no autopost as I manually did those myself from the back end and set a repost to happen. But none from the new post that are pulled by the cron. This is why you don't see any of the new items on my twitter beside the ones I manually performed. I have included a JSON extract here however I think this is fixed I just need to confirm once the autopost works which I have the other ticket open for this.

Ok looks as if there is intermittent auto posting and all the domain information is correct as of now. We can close this ticket for incorrect domain.

Thanks for your help
