I'm frustrated.

I tried to do the update to EasyBlog. It didn't work.

I tried to do the suggested work around, re-downloading and re-installing using the documentation for Joomla 2.x (We have 2.5.16)

It won't load past 45%.

I understand this is a known issue. But I am a novice, and the trouble shooting suggested in the documentation does not include any instruction for how one goes about DOING the steps it suggests.

If someone can give me detailed steps, I might be able to follow them, but I'm not seeing any anywhere.

Until then, I can't get to the back end of my blog.
Hi there,

It seems that i can access your backend using given backend url as you can see https://screencast.com/t/8BmrkK5GtcE8
Please advice.

Hi Abdul -

The screencast doesn't load for me.

But to clarify my concerns - I can access the backend of my site, but not of the blog (That is, I can't get in to EasyBlog except for the limited posting access from the front end of the site). This is because I get routed into the nonworking update.

Hi there,

It seems that this is a known issues when you install our Easyblog into Joomla2.5 version. This issues has been fixed and will be included on our next release version.

On meantime, you have to wait for it release or you have to update/upgrade your Joomla to its latest version. I am sorry for any inconvenience.

Hello Allison,

We are pushing out another update in 2 weeks for EasyBlog. Perhaps if you want, provide us with the back end and FTP access to the site and we'll help you update it first.
