Hello,

I have downloaded the install packages from my dashboard and they do not install. I try to launch the launcher and I get the following. Please see screenshots. Never had a 404 error with any EasyBlog installs.

Could you help? Is this an ongoing issue with other installations?

Regards,
Rob
Hello Rob,

Hm, this is a strange issue. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? You may store your site access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so you don't have to provide these information all the time

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the quick reply. I got it to install but what happened was that EasyBlog would not install fully but would only install a menu item under Components in the back end of Joomla.

I had to click on the Maintenance link to get it to install and then it messed up my CSS which is an entirely different file external to EasyBlog. See screenshot and see my site - it appears all fonts that I had coded with different hex colors all went black. And the Twitter button is odd looking.

I will look into a few things that may have caused this but this upgrade was NOT easy. I am just glad I could see all my posts.

Thanks for the offer to install it but I will fix everything back to normal.

Just to update a lot of installs were deployed today - first Joomla had an update the the folks over at RocketTheme updated their Gantry product - we both know about that one Mark and it was EasyBlog last. So I am thinking Gantry maybe the culprit.

So despite the issues I will fix it and thanks again for the fast reply - get some rest or sleep please. Thank you.

Rob

Okay Mark I am closing this ticket - it was NOT EasyBlog as always - it was Gantry! The only strange thing was how EasyBlog installed. You guys are awesome!

Much love for EasyBlog.

Rob
