Hi there,

I recently tried updating my Easyblog component to the latest version, and the entire website is now broken! I've tried renaming .htaccess and renaming the easyblog folders in components and administrator.

I made an akeeba backup just before the installation, but I can't even login to Akeeba at the moment.

Please help!!!!
Hey there,

It seems like you requested another domain site for support because your current Pro license is only can available request 1 domain site for support.

By the way, you can try temporary rename all the Easyblog folder name from your site and see how it goes?
JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog
JoomlaFolder/components/com_easyblog
JoomlaFolder/media/com_easyblog
JoomlaFolder/media/foundry

Hi Arlex,

Thanks, looks like I registered the wrong domain name. I've updated to the correct domain name now.

I've tried renaming the Easyblog folders you mentioned, but it didn't change anything.

I've managed to get into the backend, but the frontend is still not displaying correctly and Easyblog is completely broken.

Hi Arlex,

I've installed a previous version of Easyblog and the site is working ok now, except for some issues with the template.

Would you guys be able to guide me through updating to the latest version of Easyblog?

Thanks,

hey there,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

At first, I hitting following error when during the installation, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

After that I open your configuration.php file and remove this word:

public live_site = 'http://yourdomain.com';

// Replace to
public live_site = '';

Then the installation work perfectly fine now. Can you give it a check is it everything work fine now?
