I have noticed that since the patch I have been hacked by Gantengers Crew ..... previous backups have none of their files. Are you sure the new version is secure?

What do you mean by new version is secure? If it is safe or not in term or installation part, yes, it is since many users already upgrade to the latest version.

Hello, thanks for your interest in my problem.

My question about security was based on the sequence of events. (1) site works normally (2) install latest Easyblog (3) site goes offline (4) investigate problem and find site hacked ...all this happened in minutes of each other. Perhaps they are not related. But it seemed strange that I got hacked immediately after upgrading Easyblog....therefore I wanted to ask if about security.

So I am glad you are confident in the version - also I hope this is not happening to others.

I have reinstalled the site and will try the upgrade again.
