I just updated EasyBlog to 5.0.37 which seems to be the current version but my EasyBlog dashboard still says "Requires Updating" I believe it should say that I have the latest version. Did I miss something?

In the link for the discussion, it specifically states for sites with SSL Certificates. I do not have an SSL Certificate. Do I use the same fix?

Hi Bob,
You need to enter your API key in
Settings>System>API Key
.
I have helped you do this so the update message should not show anymore.

Thank you. I thought inputing the API key in the update screen was enough.

Hello Robert,
Thanks for getting back to us on this. Yes, it should be that way and there is a bug in the installer where it didn't automatically save the API key.
In the next release, 5.0.38, you will no longer need to enter any api keys. They are generated for you and that would be less 1 step
