We have upgraded to the current version of EasyBlog.

Site will not load with an EasyBlog module showing on home page, and EasyBlog will not load in the administrator. Both have this error:

[15-Oct-2015 15:35:38 UTC] PHP Fatal error: __clone method called on non-object in /home/mctt/public_html/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php on line 526

For now we have disabled the module in the home page, so the site can load (this is a production site).
Hey Sandi,

The login credentials that you have provided for the site does not seem to be working for me Can you please advise? By the way, which particular module did you unpublished on the site?

In case I was not clear: the Joomla user that I had created for you to use was not saved yet. It is saved now, and should work.

Hey Sandi,

Could you please provide us with the phpmyadmin access? I need to run some SQL queries on the site and I can't seem to run it with MijoSQL.

Hey Sandi,

I still can't run the SQL query in phpmyadmin. I believe there is something that prevents the script from executing the following SQL query from the web server,

delete form jos_easyblog_revisions where `created_by`='0';

I can't execute it either. I am opening a ticket with the hosting company. I suspect mod_security.

What is your public IP address, so the hosting company can see if you triggered some mod_security rules?

This is my ip address Sandi, 210.186.18.4 . It's getting pretty late here (Almost 4am from where I am at) but if they have lift it off, can you run that query again for me and see if that works out for you? Otherwise, we'll be available again at about 9.30am

Yes, I was able to run delete from jos_easyblog_revisions where `created_by`='0' The result was "1 row deleted"

I gave your IP address to the hosting company, and they said:
I was able to find a mod_security rule being triggered from the 210.186.18.4 IP and have gone ahead and whitelisted it. Can you please have them try executing queries again?

Can you please continue troubleshooting this issue now?

Hi, can you please try this again?

The hosting company says they found more mod_security rules being tripped, and have whitelisted those rules now.

It appears to work well, thanks!

Can you explain more about what you did? Should we worry about this happening again?

Hey Sandi,

Thanks for updating us on this and glad that your issues are resolved now. Some of your blog post may have gone "haywire" during the upgrade to 5 probably because of the older version of the blog posts
