Hello,

We want placeholder in the blog's editing page.

We tried to place placeholder in the html file /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/dashboard/account/blog.php

Example: <textarea name = "description" class="form-control" placeholder="Description or subtitle of my blog"> <? php echo $ profile-> getDescription () ;?> </ textarea>

However, no effect on the site. It does not take the change. Are we mistaken for file ? Do you have a solution ?

Best regards.
Hey there,

The file is correct.

Based on your screenshot, you had put the placeholder into it successfully. I am not sure what do you mean 'no effect on the site. It does not take the change'.

Can you explain more about it so that we can have a better understanding of it?

It is the best that you do it at template override location which is at JoomlaFolder/templates/yourCurrentTemplate/html/com_easyblog/dashboard/account/blog.php

You need to create the folders manually if you don't see it.

Hello,

It works. There was a file "blog.php" in / template / html / dashboard / account and it was used instead of the other file "blog.php" present in the component.

Thank you for your assistance !

Best regards.
