EasyBlog beginner's question:
EasyBlog themes that came with the purchased product do not seem to have sidebars.

1) Is there an EasyBlog theme we missed with sidebars or how do we enable the sidebars.
2) How to show a calendar, popular posts, archive, etc modules in EasyBlog sidebars?

Thanks.
Best Regards.
hey aroni,
actually the easyblog themes (and most other extension themes) are only filling the component area with their output.
to add modules to the site you should put them on a sidebar position of your joomla template, not an easyblog theme. that way you also have much more flexibility how and where they should be positioned - for example you could also display them on sites where you're not in the easyblog section at this moment.

hope that helps and have a nice day

Alex,
Thank you. This helps a lot.
That what I was doing. But, after seeing the announcement of TemPlaza-EasyBlog partnership and the TemPlaza EasyBlog templates, I thought I was missing something.

Have a nice day.

hey aroni,
you're welcome and you missed absolutely nothing, I just checked their "simple love" template demo that integrates with easyblog and also on their demo they use the regular "right" position of the joomla main template, so seems they haven't added any extra module positions to the easyblog theme at all.

so you're already on the right track and good to go with your current setup - have a nice day
