The subject line and the reference to the name of the blog category shown in the screen capture need proper data. The subject line shows a dB field name not a more descriptive reference such as "New [category-name] Subscriber.

The body of the email should list [category-name] rather than the word "blog" in the description.

Hi Tkabe,

Thank you for suggestion to improve the email content for subscriber notification. I will forward this to our developers so they can include the category name inside the email content.

Seeing from your screenshot above it seems like your language file did not get translated correctly however I am not able to add the translation for you since the provided FTP is not working for me. By the way you can edit subject line by adding the language constant inside your language file /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easyblog.ini with a proper translation as example below:
COM_EASYBLOG_SUBSCRIPTION_NEW_CATEGORY="New subscriber for this category"

Hope these help.

Ezrul,

Thanks for your update - I will take a look at this edit in the next day.

I have two questions:
1. how can I edit the save site details in my profile...can't find the link. If I update the Site Details tab in this post....I don't think it is updating the saved profile details.

2. The social portion of my site went live last night and after spending much time configuring the privacy settings for the user profile type and in my own profile settings I still see details that must be hidden in the Apps>About section.

I also tried to use the "tick box" Tick the checkbox to reset all user's default privacy under this profile however this feature does not seem to update any profiles who previously had other privacy settings and it does not seem to reset as described.

This information displayed in my system should only be visible by (only me) and (friends).

Can you help me resolve this matter - I'm desperate to fix this before users start using the social section (Community menu item in my system).

See site details in this tab for updated details and the screen capture.

Hey Todd,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as we might have missed your post. Please find the response to your inquiries below:

You may add them here, http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site

Not really sure if I understand you here. Are you referring to the custom fields? Those are actually dependent on the user's privacy. Please take a look at my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/uKpM7BJ09
