When using the easyblog submission app in paypal (EXACTLY what I was looking for by the way! ) You need to set +1 of the actual number you want.

Also – when you reached the limit you cannot make changes to an existing post in that category. And if the user gets an error (e.g. a required field not filled in) when posting the last allowed blog post, the category is gone for good,
Hey Jan,

I didn't get exactly what you explained in above reply. Can you please elaborate more with example so i'll be able to assist you properly.

Update me.

Thank you for understanding !

Hi Manisha, it seems I was wrong about the number, it seems to calculate ok.

What DOES happen, is that the number of posts made to a category is increased even when you save a draft, or try to publish it and get an error, e.g. if you misssed to fill in a mandatory field. That means the category might disappear due to "max limit" even though you haven't posted anything yet.

Also, if you reached the maximum number of posts for the category, you cannot make edits to a post in that category without the category automatically being changed.

Example: I have an "About me" category in which I would like the bloggers to only make one post each. When first entering the editor, the "About me" category is available. If the user choose that category, write the post and press "save draft", the "About me" category disappears, and the post can no longer be published.
