I spotted this a while back, when I make changes to the layout settings it does not seem to take effect.

I have setup a example, when you connect to the site, scroll down the main page to the section 'Read Our Blog" and click on the first entry "The worlds First...". When you look at the bottom of the blog entry you see the "About the Author", "recent Posts", "Related posts" and "Comments" sections, I turned all that off and it still is on. It seems whatever I check in the layout options does not work. I don't know if a plugin/module is interfering or the Yamato theme layout or whatever is stopping this from working. As a hack I used CSS overrides to remove those sections but I would like to able to use the correct layout switch's/
Hey Will,

This is not a bug because in your "Video Wall" category, all these options are enabled under the "Post Options" tab. I have configured the category so that it inherits all settings from the Global Settings (Layout) and it works fine now
