Everytime a blog is posted roughly 5 e-mails get sent to each subscriber. I realize this can be fixed with a cron job in theory, however using 'lunarpages' hosting I can't seem to figure out how to set this up, they say they don't support the type of cron job:

Any help would be much appreciated
Hello Emory,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I suspect it maybe because of this setting "Send emails on page load" in the backend -> EasyBlog -> Settings -> Notifications -> General. I have turned this off. You do not actually need this if the cron job is running. Also please make sure to not set the cron interval to a too low value as this will sometimes cause the emails to be sent out in duplicates.

Also, please understand that your subscription has already expired. In order for you to continue receiving priority support, please consider renewing your subscription. Hope this helps.

Thanks!

I see that you've changed it, however as the post said I do NOT have a cron job going because the settings look different etc. Any ideas?

Hello Emory,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Sorry to have misunderstand you. The only way to fix this is to turn on the send email by page but reduce the amount of emails sent from 5 to maybe about 2. Hope this helps.

Thanks!
