Hi,

I am trying to find a search module for EasyBlog and now guessing there isn't one - other than the one in the toolbar?

I don't really want to use the toolbar as it doesn't blend in with the rest of my sight (plus its different again to EasySocial's toolbar too) so the site doesn't flow consistently (particularly as I also have to try and work in 3rd party extensions too with their toolbars).

I have enabled the EasyBlog search plugin - which functions fine, but then I lose consistency again because when I click to display a blog entry search result my sidebar menus (blog categories, calendar etc.) and other custom modules don't show (even though its a blog article).

I have tried setting the sidebars etc. in the menu assignments to show on all pages except '... '

but that has no effect.

Is there a simple solution to this that I am overlooking?

Kind regards

Mel
Hi Mel,

I believe there is a module for search; Module mod_searchblogs. You can download it from our site: http://stackideas.com/downloads/modules .

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hi Mohd,

thanks for that - I couldn't find the free download section (I thought I had seen a search module in the past). Now I realize the free module downloads are in a very obvious place on the downloads page
