Hi awesome Stack crew:

For my curated blog, I have multiple categories set up to accept content from multiple RSS feeds, imported using the EasyBlog RSS Feed Importer. I now have all my RSS Feeds "unpublished," as several of the feed imports were importing articles multiple times (same title, same url source).

In other words, rather than going to the site and determining whether a specific article has been imported or not, the RSS Importer simply imports the article again, and again, and again, for each cronjob. I've had times when the article shows up 50 times or more on my Admin panel (luckily, unpublished), so I end up having to manually delete all but one.

I wonder if this is possibly a problem with the RSS Importer, some other EasyBlog logic, or if you think it is more likely to be a problem with the content source?
Hey John,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have just tested the particular feed that you mentioned locally and it doesn't seem to duplicate on my end.

EasyBlog actually stores a history of items it has already imported by identifying the permalink of each feed items.

Hmmm. Confusing, because I just looked at the ImpressCMS articles you just imported, and there are now duplicates of each of those articles. I realized they're duplicates when viewing ALL articles, I searched for a keyword from each article title, and it does show up multiple times, for each of the 3 articles it imported.

Hey John,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Do you mean that when the cron process, it will automatically import post into your Easyblog, but only when the user view on your imported articles, it will generated duplicate post in your site?

Perhaps you can guide us which RSS feed URL you try to import that articles into your Easyblog? So we can test this in your site.

Because I've tried test import, it seems like 3 of your feed URL which enabled now already no extra new article can import in your site.

Looking forward of your response.
