For each theme, you provide a bunch of different template files to display blog posts.

These include files such as:
blog.read.php
blog.read.photo.php
blog.read.video.php
...

How do I actually use these different template sub files. I can only ever use blog.read.php.

I would really like to style templates differently that have videos, photos, quotes etc... but I just can't figure out where you specify this.

cheers
Andrew
Hi Andrew,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

By the default, if you blog post is a standard post, EasyBlog will use this theme file 'blog.read.php' to display the blog post content. However, if your blog post is a photo type, ( you can create photo type post via microblogging ) then EasyBlog will use 'blog.read.photo.php'.

For your information, some EasyBlog theme do not have these files in the folder. For such themes is consider a child themes, it will inherit the theme files from it's parent theme.

By the way, may i know which EasyBlog theme you are currently using on your site?
Please advise.

I'm using the vintage blog template.

Can you please explain how I specify which type of blog I want eg: photo, twitter, default, normal. This is what I just can't figure out. I understand it, but I can't find ANY information on how you pick which one you want.

cheers
Andrew

Hello Andrew,

You did not see the selection is because you didn't enable this option: http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-11-10_1016.png . I've enabled it for you. Please have a look.
