I am trying to have my es avatars linked with eb but i do not want to link the two profiles together and for some reason the profiles are linking together and I cant unlink them..

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. You can setting this on back end by:
1. Click Components->EasyBlog->Settings->Layout->Avatars->Avatar Integrations-> Disable the Modify author's name and avatar links.
I have already set this option, and now the avatar will not linked to EasySocial profile
