See post titled: "Example of Video Template" - should be first post in HMI category shown.

How do I size this image so it is not auto width on desktop view. I did not see any size control using the video template provided with the EasyBlog editor template. Mobile views are fine with auto width however as you can see not only is the video really just huge, but unless the image is very high resolution the image placeholder for the YouTube video is poor quality.

Thoughts?

Todd
Hi Tkabe,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I've applied the fix inside your /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/videos/adapters/youtube.php and it should displaying correctly now. Please have a look.

Hai Todd,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding for you issue to size video image so it is not auto width on desktop view what you can do is try to change setting for video block just go to editor-> click video image-> Fluid Layout-> choose NO and setting video width(321 px) also video height(206px). It will show the video smaller,

Hi,

I am using the TinyMCE editor and as a result, I do not have "blocks" as an option in the sidebar of the composer to follow your instructions. Please login and view the composer and list page for details.

The code that was added directly to the post is the following, however the size configuration of the embedding code does not have an impact on the list page.

[embed=videolink]{"video":"https://youtu.be/----------","width":"400","height":"225"}[/embed]

See site access details posted in my saved site details.

Hello TKABE,

I've added a fix to your FTP but I can't access your backend to recompile the .less file. Can you try to recompile it here: http://screencast.com/t/2oBtRZYyu . It is in Backend>Easyblog>Themes. Select your theme and click that button.

Nik,

I recompiled the the .less as requested. I also reset the password for your user account noted in the Additional Information section of my saved site details for staging1 and tested access - now working to backend.

I do not see a change to the size of the image files in the post view. Not sure if this is what you thought would be different/updated.

Please advise.

Ezrul,

I forgot to ask for a copy of the file you updated, noted in your last post, so I attempted to copy the staging1
includes/video folder and subfolder includes/video/adapters as you noted into my live domain easyblog files.
This action did not solve the issue for my production site, however as noted earlier the staging1 site you updated is working properly.

Please help me understand which files or actions need to be taken to replicate your fix on staging1 in my production site.

Thank you in advance and best regards,

Todd

Hi Tkabe,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

You need to download the following .less file as well. Download my attachment below and place it inside your /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/styles/layout/ folder and then recompile the .less file like you did previously in your staging site and see how it goes.

Hi Tkabe,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

You need to download the following .less file as well. Download my zip attachment below, extract it and place the default.less file inside your /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/styles/layout/ folder and then recompile the .less file like you did previously in your staging site and see how it goes.
