Hello,

In Easyblog 3 we could easily preview posts. With EasyBlog 5, I login to the admin and create a post, I click the Arrow next to save and click Preview Post. A modal window pops up saying saving and post save close or back to list.

So where is the preview post I selected???
Hi Stephen,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. Did you allow pop-ups on your browser?

More haste less speed as they say!

However, the pop-up page is showing raw HTML?

Looking at it further the preview view is wrapped in:

<html><head></head><body><pre style="word-wrap: break-word; white-space: pre-wrap;">
</pre></body></html>

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

Sorry I had not updated my license since renewing. I've updated the support domain now.

We only need support for this one.

Many thanks

Hi Stephen,

I still investigate why your preview shows html code instead. I noticed that your preview blog url on your front end and back end is different where caused by sh404sef. As you know that the sh404sef only triggered on the front end that caused the conflict while you try to preview a blog post on your back end. The preview blog post from the back end is still using the EasyBlog's router.
There are 2 option that can fix this issue:

Option 1:
1. Can I have a permission to change the URLs creation where using menu alias instead of title alias (please refer this screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/6S6Szmez ).
2. and also permission to purge inside sh404SEF: URL manager (please refer this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/LP4pSaq8YL6 )

Option 2:
1. Change the Menu alias same as Title alias (please refer this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/ZdLqD5bIXvq )

Hello,

Thank you. I solved it, it was down to SH404 not having an alias for the menu item easyblog was using and the fact the client wasn't logged into the site. Re the code being shown that happens to 404's so investigating that now.

Thanks for your help.
